Has anyone had any experiences good or bad with Mr. Gatewood @ Gatewood rifles in Ohio?

I have, but not as a customer. I met him thru the GoGo Varmint board, and asked questions about stockmaking. He gave his advice and experiences freely even though I am also making stocks. He is a friend rather than a competitor, and I have heard very good things of his work. I have seen lots of his work, and it is exellent. If I can be half the stocker Claude is, I will be very good. Please understand I have nothing to gain from this post.

Where is this Mr. Gatewood in Ohio? I would be glad to go by if he's within an hour or so of Cincinnati.

A little late, but....

Claude did three trigger jobs for me on a couple of 10/22's and a 77/22. VERY happy with his work, communication, turn-around time, etc.

With any luck, he got more work due to those three little jobs. I've recommended him a bunch on different boards.
