I do not have one, but I would assume they used the same tech data to make M70 actions like previous owners did. Makes sense to, so accessories would still work. You know what assumptions are, though. | |||

I think a good person to ask might be D'Arcy Echols. I don't think he uses FN Mod 70 actions, but he may have looked them over well enough to answer your question(s). Matt FISH!! I don't know, but I would be happy to measure my early 2000's vintage (Connecticut factory) left handed long action Model 70's for any dimension you need if it helps at all. | |||

Duane, They are the same in all respects as far as guard screw and magazine locations are concerned. The FN action I have in the shop even has the hole drilled and tapped for the center screw although it is not utilized. The magazine boxes interchange. Regards, Bill. | |||
