I will try and help you here. I have swapped the super blackhawk hammer with a standard blackhawk hammer with no problems. You have to make sure the trigger engages the hammer notches correctly though. As for the bisley, I think it can be done, but you have to remove some material so that the bisley hammer can be cocked all the way back. I think it should be a very simple task, but there might be a larger than you want gap in the top of the trigger guard assembly. As I said I have never done that conversion. Good luck. | |||

Have a new blackhawk, stainless .45 colt. Don't like the hammer, too narrow and high. I would prefer a superblackhawk hammer. Brownells has them. Is it a straight swap or ??? Same question with a Bisley hammer into the blackhawk? I have heard this is not doable because of the slot in the frame, but don't know. Any advise? Thanks. Eric | |||
