I have been looking for a stainless steel banded ramp front sight base and also a stainless steel island rear sight base, but I haven't found anything out there.
Are these strictly a hand made proposition?

I like the looks of the ruger front ramps too, that would be a good option.
Another suggestion would be KG Gun Kote. I built a remington a while back in stainless and needed to match the grip cap and bottom metal since they were steel, you couldn't tell the difference in them from the barrel and action. If you don't like the ruger I would go this route and KG the entire gun.

Anybody know the ID on the Ruger Magnum front sight?
The one Midway reviewer said the standard size has a .550" bore but I'm looking for something for a MRC #5 barrel with a nominal .700 OD at the muzzle.

The largest Ruger stainless one I have goes .745". Another one goes .665".
