Plan to do this on a Redhawk, Super Redhawk and Super Blackhawk.
How well will it work?
Will a bead blasting outfit set up for Parkerizing work and provide a finish I will like.

Dull flat finish is the operative word here.

It should, but there are a few variables such as type of media, age of media, air pressure, condition of nozzle, etc.

What I would suggest is practice on a cheap stainless steel dinner knife, or large spoon. Get them from salvation army or goodwill or garage sale, then experiment on a couple to see if it gives you the finish you want.

Bead blasting will work, just be sure to get a fine enough grit of bead. Most of your commercial dull stainless finishes have been "vapor" blasted.
