I'm looking for a company to manganaese parkerize a barreled action, and wanted to know if anyone has used the Hot Flash Refinishing company. If so, what did you think of the finish and service? They're on the web at
http://www.hotflashrefinishing.com/default.htm. If anyone on here does manganaese parkerizing I'd like to hear from you too. Thanks!

Check Craftguard (www.craftguard.com) for finishing -- their prices are substantially less. I have not used them myself, but know people who have, and the finishes were nice. Turnaround is reported to be quick too. I don't know if their parkerizing process using manganese, though.

I ended up having Craftguard parkerize two of my Remington rifles. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of having a firearm refinished. The two rifles turned out excellent, and they were a pleasure to work with. Thanks for the referral Todd.
