I'm looking for a hand brush with the right shape with metal bristles for getting inside the receiver ring of a bolt rifle to clean off some spots of rust. didn't see anything from brownells. also, what solvent do you use for removing rust spots from steel on receivers and barrels? kroil? thanks
Three or 4 0 Steel wool and WD40. There is no brush as you describe. Use a slotted stick or regular cleaning brush, bent to suit. Wrap the steel wool around it.

If you have a Dremel Rotary Tool, there is a power flex cable attachment you can buy. It allows you to chuck small wire wheels and brushes and is very narrow allowing you to get in tight places.
