just field stripped and cleaned my "new" remington 742 woodsmaster. now it won't fire. the trigger assembly is cocked when i put it in, it fires, then when you recock the action, it won't fire or stay locked back by the empty magazine. what did i do wrong???? help!!!!!!!!!!!!! Confused

that little arm on the side of the trigger housing is probably not in the slot. if I remember right you will have to remove the trigger to get it in right,
