Do additional Blaser K95 barrels require fitting?

There seems to be some debate about this. Some dealers tell me that any new K95 barrel to be added to an existing action needs to be checked for correct fit by a Blaser gunsmith, while others tell me that a new bbl will fit straight on without gunsmith intervention.

I'd be interested to hear about your experiences with this.

Cheers

GG,
Mine did but I know other K95 shooters who were able to swap barrels and go hunting. Have you tried a different barrel on your receiver? If so, and it fits, I say shoot it. If it doesn't fit, I would have it fitted.
There are 2 really good forums that focus on Blaser products.

Many experienced resources there to help you with your questions.
Good luck. You have the finest single shot rifle in the world.
Cheers,
Cliff
