I have a Canjar double set trigger on my M-70 winchester PF. The single stage function is great, however thet set trigger will not function. Rewiewed the adjustment instructions and made some adjustments with the small hex screw. Conditions remains the same. Any advice would be helpful. Is it time to seek out a smith with experience on Canjar triggers> Thanks

If it 'snaps' and doesn't fire then you need kicker spring or primary sear engagement work. If it doesn't 'snap' at all then you need SST secondary sear work. The M70 primary sear arrangement is sometimes problematical with the Canjar SST and often a heavier kicker spring or less primary sear engagement will solve the problem.
Regards, Joe

Do you know the correct way to set the trigger?
Push forward against the shoe until it locks with the center blade out.
