Leupold manufactures a rear base(set #52370) that is made to mount on an Mauser rear bridge with the charger hump intact. I know that this has narrower spacing than the standard .5" hole spacing and is pretty close to .325", but I would like to know the actual measurements. I would also like to know if there are other manufactures who use the same spacing. Jason "You're not hard-core, unless you live hard-core." _______________________ Hunting in Africa is an adventure. Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby.
