I want to attach a barrel sling. I know that they have barrel bands, but I don't want to have to remove my front sight. There are clamp on ones out there I have them on a couple riffles seem to work fine. | |||

uncle mikes has/had them . I have a few, seem to work. pull open, squeeze closed. insert threaded insert, tighten down.  | |||

I have taken a number of the bands and modified them by ccutting in half through the middle of the bore diameter and soldered the bottom half to the barrel after re-countouring them.
