bolt face question
I would like to rebarrel and rechamber my win model 70xtr from a 270wsm to a 6.5 rem mag. Would the case head diameter differance between those two be a problem as far as the bolt is concerned? Shayne

You're in luck, Shayne. The bolt face for the WSM series is the same as for standard (.532") belted magnums. By rebating the rims on the WSM series, Winchester--and Remington with the RSAUMs--ensured component commonality. It's simply smart design/manufacturing.

My reloading guide says the wsm is .535 and the rem mag is .532 I did'nt think it would make a differance but it got me thinking. shayne
