VZ24 Stock
Will a Mauser 98 stock fit a VZ24 action? Thanks.

Yes, but probably with minor fitting issues.

I put a 98 in a VZ24 stock with no problems.

BTW, Sarco has unissued VZ24 stocks for sale, around $40.00.

I was a little to terse with my question. I have a VZ24 action that I intend to build a rifle on. Once the rifle is built I am trying to determine whether the after market Mauser 98 stocks, like the Hogue, Accurate Innovations, etc., will work with the VZ24 action. I am not looking for a military stock. Sorry for phrasing my question so poorly.

A VZ-24 is your everyday run-of-the-mill M98 action. Any stock listed for a regular M98 will work just fine. Bare in mind though that you may encounter some fitting issues since these action weren't all produced to the same exacting specs and as such aftermarket part vendors don't hold the tolerances as tightly on things like stocks as they might for a Winchester.
