A friend of mine who is the lucky owner of a very large collection of exquisite engraved rifles and knifes came back from Europe, told me he went to Belgium and met an engraver with unequaled skills, and described the man like a type of superhuman. He stated, the work is the best I have ever seen. I know he owns work from Winston Churchill, Lisa Tomlin and many other great engravers. My curiosity led me to a man Alain Lovenberg and a website:

By the way, is it possible to get some more views of the forearm of that last FN O/U. They were also made on rare occasion for Browning and used the three piece forend arrangement. I have seen one and I am going to restock one in that style. It is very rare to see one like that.

With pleasure, Chic. Here's a pic of my 2 B25's. The A1 std. grade has a 1-piece forend, while the presentation grades have a 3-piece forend. When taking them apart, the whole forend slides forward when 1-piece, while only the lower half moves with the 3-piece forend.

That engravings look very good.
