Has anybody used an old tikka L65 set up, what was or is the action like to use?

I have been offered one for a bargain, i was thinking maybe team it up with a 30.06 imp krieger barrel slap it in a decent stock and i might just have a good all round deer rifle fit to flat pack everything i see.

my mistake I think its an M65 action.
