I got most of the basics and want to start fitting the barrel but who do I rent a 404 Jeffery reamer from?...I emailed a guy that's website says he has one but it's been several days and no reply.....Not sure this is the guy to do business with.

I have one, but I don't rent it. Too expensive to replace.

However, if You'll thread and fit the barrel to your action, and give me the measurement from the front of the ring to the bolt face, I'll chamber/headspace your barrel (+.002" ) for $35, and you pay the shipping. That's less than any rental I know of. All I'd need is the barrel. Turn around time would be only 2 days.
I'm in the middle of Wyoming, so the shipping would only be a little.

Buchsenschmeid, That's a very kind offer of you but I found a reamer with a gage and a throater a few hours ago and it's on it's way.....otherwise I'd have taken you up on the offer.
