I took the Browning 1895 (takedown) out to the range Saturday. Had a few problems. I couldn't close the lever the last 1/2" after firing about 30 rounds. I found out what it was, the firing pin came back too far out of the bolt. I just pushed in in with my finger and it's working again. Anyone familiar with that? Also, the magazine spring seems very weak, I heard that this was a problem on the takedown models. Is there a cure? With the Lyman 21 rear sight I need a new front blade about +0.10 Rich Oh yea it's 405 with a second 30/40 barrel. | ||
