Swapping a M70 safety to the other side?

I found some left hand M70 factory safeties.

I have always felt like the M70 safety was on the wrong side.

Is it a simple matter to the RH unit for a LH unit?

The cocking piece would need beveled, too,, so it will cam back the firing pin assembly as it should.

I assume you found left hand bolt shrouds and not just the safeties;
All the Left handed bolt action bolt shrouds I have seen have left handed threads: won't fit a right handed bolt.

I get them from NECG; they are the primary Recknagel dealer in the US. For Mausers I mean.
