| If that gun has the traditional elevator rear sight in front of the receiver consider a peep sight that mounts there.
There is a thread here on such sights and I have seen rifles with homemade ones. |

| An aperture sight mounted where the standard battle sight is (in front of the receiver) will NEVER be as accurate and easy to use as one mounted on the rear bridge, as close to the eye as possible.
There is a reason why ALL target rifles using metallic sights and ALL US battle rifles since the M1903A3 have had the rear aperture as close to the eye as possible. |
