Folks,

Guy Malmborg was working on a rifle project for me prior to his unfortunate passing. My metalwork cannot be located at his shop and may have been sent-out for bluing. Does anyone know where/whom (what company) Guy used for bluing? It may have been somewhere in California.

Any information would be appreciated. Feel free to send a PM or post here.

Thank you,
Nathan Oberg

I wasnt aware that Malm passed away. That's unfortunate for all of us. My condolences. He was one of the best smith's ever in the SLC area and a great knowlege source for all AR members.

If he sent the receiver out for bluing it should be logged out of his bound book.

I would definitely ask his estate to check his bound book. If it's logged in from you and not logged out, chances are it's still lingering in the shop somewhere.
