I recently recieved a winchester type saftey from AHS. My gunsmith is having a problem fitting it to a Bruno 602 and was asking about any info that may be available so he doesnt make a mistake. I contacted AHS and was told that there isnt any diagrams etc as it is made for a CZ 550 but with a little machening it should work for a Bruno 602. If any of you guys out there have done this conversion please may I have some details as this is my carry gun and would like it to be working well. He seems to have fitted most parts but the filler that goes where the origanal safty catch was does not fit and at the moment when loaded the rifle fires when the saftey is released or this is what I could understand on a bad phone line.

I assume this is the AHR safety? Bitteroot who posts here is with AHR, but if you already called them he may not be able to provide further assistance. Maybe your gunsmith needs to talk to him?

Good luck getting it sorted out quickly.

I have fitted that safety and an "Ed Lapour" to a CZ and had to do a little work to make that filler piece fit. That is all it is, just a piece to fill the slot where the old safety went. Should not be that big a deal to see where it is binding. It needs to be put in place and rotated into position.

Thanks for the advise gentlemen, greatly appreciated. The guys at AHR have been of great assistance. The problem is that the saftey is made for the CZ 550 and I'm trying to fit it to a Bruno 602 which is slightly different. Thanks again for the help.
