Well, my 404 Jeffrey project is coming to completion (finally) which was built on a 1917 Enfield. I was having some problems feeding from this action until I read Mr. Wiebe's discussion and with a lttle work I was 90% of the way there. On a whim, I removrd the follower from my 416 RM model 70 and now the feeding is perfect. So now I need a new magnum length follower, only problem I can't seem to find one. Anyone have a suggestion on where I might be able to locate one? Thank you for your help. Assuming that it's the pre-64 follower, Jim Wisner has them also. Frank "I don't know what there is about buffalo that frightens me so.....He looks like he hates you personally. He looks like you owe him money." - Robert Ruark, Horn of the Hunter, 1953 NRA Life, SAF Life, CRPA Life, DRSS lite | |||
