To barrel, cut chamber and possibly put sights on a Ruger #1 action with a 20" barrel chambered in 500 S&W.

Allen,..my gunsmith has a fine reputation for working with #1's. He actually has some sort of patent on a modification he makes to the forearm area which increases accuracy. He purchases, rebarrels, and accurizes these things 20-30 at a time. He may have to purchase the reamer,..but if your experience is good,..I may just have to have one like it. I have been considering that round for some sort of project.
