lb404 will have 5 tables at 15C, upper deck. Mimms Reed usually has a few tables.

If you are there and you see any G.33/40 and Oberdorf 1935 actions in mint condition for less than $150 each please pick them up for me and I will pay you for them next week. Big Grin

22WRF, if I see any for that price, they're yours! Seriously, I hope nothing screams at me, enough projects as it is. But I can still be tempted or I wouldn't be going.

Row 2 A tables 4 thru 8...looking out the big drive in door on the south side and where the ramp goes downstairs.
Stop by and bring money!

I think Forrest (A, that is) will be trying his best to entice us to buy shoe boxes full of actions, Whitworths, FNs and every other well priced Mauser at the show to save himself, only to end up hauling it all back to his own house in the back of my Tahoe, LOL.

Forrest A,

I thought I was going to be in the panhandle of Texas later in the week, but thats changed. I will probably take the 8:00 am sat morning out of Hobby, probably stay at the LaQunita on Skelly if I can get shook loose, I should be able to............I'd hate for Harry to get confused and sell my 404 for 35 dollars instead of 3500 Smiler

Damnit Billy, I thought you said pesos. I sold it to some guy with a Mexican flag that looked really pissed off. Sent him to WalMart for some ammo...

Had the best show ever. A real feeding frenzy on Winchester stuff. I sold 7 rifles as I was unloading to set up tables. A total of 15 rifles and I think I handed out more than the usual number of business cards. At this rate I won't have anything but custom rifles left by years end.

I drove over from Arkansas on Saturday...turned into a 15 hour day with the drive back in a beautiful "thunder and lightning" show...but well worth the trip...and yes, lb404 had some nice guns I would like to own there! Tiggertate and friends as well...great to finally meet a lot of the posters here in person...now, if I only had the money...and was it ever hot in the building!!! Thought I would die, the humidity you know (certainly not the too much body weight...). In any case, I suppose one of these days I need to be adopted into the "band of bubbas"...that was a beautiful .404 on the table, even if it is stainless, great job to see it in person, not just the post here...Thanks again, for the welcome and for making the trip worthwhile...Arthur Olds

ArthurOlds, I wish things hadn't been so hectic on Saturday so we could have spent some time. Perhaps next time. Maybe we should have an Accurte Reloading Meeting in Tulsa twice a year because there are always a few of us there.

AuthurOlds,

Thanks for the nice comment on my 404, we sold a few guns. I couldnt give that 404 way.........but it was fun and good company, good to meet AR guys. I thought my Mdl 70 Classic Euro would sell, seems like everybody in the show looked at it. Looked like to me that Sako's, Wood stocked Wby's and SS rems were what was selling.
