Carcano, from the latest I hear Steyr was divided: the "Sportwaffen" section ( target rifles and airguns/pistols ) was, indeed, sold 51% to Anschtz, and they will cooperate on that sector in the future. The Steyr-Mannlicher division is solely (?) owned by a Mister Hambrusch. Its said that he was connected earlier with RWS, and they may be distributed in the US by the same organzation, but from what I hear the sporting rifles will stay independent. I presume they make also the SSG, Scout and AUG. Your opinion? Hermann P.S.: Steyr ( which one?) owns/owned 51% of Suhler Jagdwaffen ( Merkel ). Well see what develops. IMHO the more independent companies, the better for us ( gunnuts ) ------------------ | ||
