My LH PO Ackely Mauser's extractor is worn out-does not hold rounds tightly enough to get ejection form the receiver even with brisk operation. Gun is chambered in 308

Can an uncut 98 Mauser extractor be ground to work on the wrong sided bolt?

What about Ruger M77 or maybe CZ LH extractors?
