Are the front and rear sights soldered on the 1909 barrel. This barrel is in like new condition and would like to remove the sights without damage. Any comments greatly appreciated. I did some checking on the net however got no answer. Thanks.

Yes, they are soldered on. Hest them up and tap them off.

Thanks John...both were soldered...did not take much heat from a small torch to free them. Very nice soldering job by the way. Ron
