Burris rings and mounts on 1885 low wall?

I picked up a Browning 1885 low wall and I wanted to try Burris mounts and rings. I bought the signature rings with the half round inserts. When I put the rings on with the 0 degree inserts, it looked like the scope was tilted down on the front objective. I have switched the inserts out to get the scope level. I just think that this is a odd set up as the bases that I bought are made specifically for this rifle. Anyone else out there run across this??? What did you find or do?

Thanks for the imput, Jay

Thinking of getting one in 22 hornet, do you know the weight of them.
Thanks
