Just out of curiosity, if both were available at the same prices, would you choose aluminium or stainless steel pillars when bedding a rem 700?

I use steel for guns without issues and aluminum for lighter guns. Other than weight neither really has an advantage.

i believe lighter weight over steel for the same function would BE the advantage....no?
