Interested on your thoughts on adding a 2d recoil lug on 375 H&H?

As long as your action is properly bedded you don't need one. If you decide to, I'd solder one to the bottom of the barrel a few inches ahead of the action and make sure it is properly bedded in the forearm. Good idea and I am for it except I would be a little leery of just soldering it on. (Note: I would NEVER Silver braze on a barrel). I would dovetail it with a shallow dovetail and then fit it and solder it on with Brownell's Force 44 stuff. One thing about soldering, if the barrel heats up, there is the possibility it would expand and the solver would comt loose if not donvetailed also. It's a good idea and recomend it on everything 375 on up that I build. Your stock will thank you. I use 2 pins with High Force 44 and have never had one come off even on Rigbys, 458 Wins and Lotts.

Not necessary for the recoil level of the .375 H&H. My .375's are tack drivers so I would not want to add to the barrel.
