Anyone have any experience with a banded front sight marked 'Christy'? Are they still around/manufatured? I picked up an Interarms Whitworth with one onboard. It has a pinned gold bead/blade and the base is marked Christy on the RH side.

Probably from the old Christy Gun Works, Sacramento, Ca. They were active in the 50s, 60s and on. No longer around, I think they closed shop in the 70s or maybe 80s.
