I'm assuming youre from the USA...and I don't know of any gunsmith in the USA that will make the 202 barrel , with the locking lugs in the barrel etc , but one way to do it is to use an old barrel for the 202 cut the chamber and locking lug end of and drill the chamber out and tap/thread whats left. Then you can use whatever barrel on the threaded "stub" ,(With the locking lugs), you are left with . Almost like sleeving the new barrel onto the old locking lug portion of the Sauer 202 barrel. A competent gunsmith are able to do this correctly. S

Dave, there IS a barrelmaker that offers drop-in 6BR barrels for the 202. Give me a day or 2 to retrieve the info and I'll be back. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Andr Mertens (edited 04-07-2002).]

Dave, it took me less time than I expected. Go to http://www.border-barrels.com/, the site of a reknowned Scottish high quality barrel maker. He offers a drop-in 6BR barrel for the Sauer 200-202 (same mechanic, actually). Keep me posted as I may follow your route in the near future. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Andr Mertens (edited 04-07-2002).]
