Randals Gun shop was good when I lived there, and the Ben Avery range is phenominal.

How would a guy find the ben avery range..Unfamiliar with the whole arizona area

If your going to go to Ben Avery then you should stop in at Lester Brunos shop on the way. they're about 2 miles East of I-17 on Deer Valley. Deer Valley is about 3 miles South of Ben Avery which sits on Carefree Hwy. Go East to 10th St. and make a right turn and they are in the first block.
When you go to Vegas The Gunstore on Tropicana is a must see. They have an indoor range and you can even rent a machine gun and shoot it if that moves your needle. There was another nice place whose name escapes me right now just North of the downtown area on Main St 3 or 4 blocks North of Las Vegas Blvd. I haven't been back to Vegas in 4 years so I don't know if he's still there but it was a nice shop with super reasonable prices. American Shooters is another indoor range where you can rent whatever your heart desires and shoot it. If your driving just get in the phone book. Theres a bunch of them in Vegas. The Shot Show is in Vegas this weekend but if your not in the business it's a bitch to get in. Nearly impossible. Jim
