Guess what I found today?
My soon to be ex-landlord (My dog killed his cat, boo hoo) said we have to move by April. I was back in the reloading room packing up some Dillons. I moved an Akro bin. Under it was another Akro bin. Inside that was two 1909 Argie actions! I forgot that I had bought them three years ago from some guy for $100.00 each. I hardly knew what a mauser was then (don't know much more now).

Can you say, "square 'em up, grind 'em down, re-carburize and a new bolt on the side."?

Better than found money.

LD

PS Now Lois and I are obsessing over bolt handle patterns Cool.

I think the end of March is when the pound has a lot of dogs available--sounds like a large 'owner loathing' pit bull would make a nice parting gift.

2? now that is good luck--matched pair of what????

Good on ya--Don

P'rolly a 9,3 x 62, 7 x 57, & 6,5 x 55. Boring, but effective.

Somebody started grinding one of them and stopped a little early (or late). It looks like a prime candidate for a 7x57 stalking rifle.

Neither of these came with bottom metal, so I will look into that. Good projects for next winter.
