Hi guys
A fellow brought in a 788 and had broken off the little stud on the bottom of the receiver that the trigger pins onto. The stud is broken off and gone. I need a recommendation on someone that can weld/solder on a new stud and drill it for the pin, I'm a macro welder, not a "fine" man, and we've got so much other stuff going I don't know when I'd get to it anyway.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have fixed these by drilling and tapping a fine thread centered where the stud was. Locktite a new stud in place, mill off the sides, drill a hole for the trigger pin, and you're back in business. Bill

I've done exactly the same thing a few times myself
