Jefery Denmark, Jim Wisner makes a reproduction of this sight that is machined from bar stock, No castings like some parts of the original.Check on past postings in the last month for his address. It is also available with a higher base for machining to barrel contour by the gunmaker.

Wow Tom, you beat me to it!

Jeffey,

Jim is definitely the way to go on this, and I think this sight has an advantage to other express sights in the ability to adjust for both windage and elevation. I have an original that is going on my 458 Lott but will have to get a new base for it from Jim. I spoke with him about this and his is stouter, I believe the original has a two piece guide screw (or maybe it is two pitch?? can't remember exactly) whatever it is, his corrects that. Not to mention there were only around 1500 originally made if I remember right, so prices are higher than the reproduction is going to be.

Now, I would just like to see it made so that I could try the NECG window looking fiber optic rear blade in it. :-)

I have a site like that on my M70 that I got from Brownells about six or seven years ago. Haven't seen them listed recently though.
