i'm planning on having a 1917 enfield made into a custom gun.... looking at either of the 2 finishes, parkerizing or casehardening... if i parkerize it, barrel and all will get the finish... if i caseharden it, only the receiver, bottom metal and blued part of the bolt will be finished... barrel will either be matte or blue... it will have a fiberglass stock... i really like wood, but don't want to add $$$$ at the time... wood may follow.... if i parkerize it, i'll scope the rifle... if i caseharden it, it will have express sights....pros/cons/opinions???? go big or go home ........
