Has anyone here ever installed the Tune up kit that Mike Bellm offers? If at first you don't succeed...RELOAD!

How much of a difference does it really make, and how easy is it to do? If at first you don't succeed...RELOAD!

If yours has a decent trigger and is shooting accurately, there is no need. If there IS a need, Mike's springs, oversized hinge pins, etc. make a significant difference. The only part that was particularly difficult for me was replacing the new sear spring; it can tend to want to beat the Shuttle into orbit! ************************ Our independence is dying.

Installing a tighter pin #1 or #2 can drastically reduce group size if there is much play present now. You should be able to go 2 pin sizes without having to ream. The beefier lock spring will help reduce any possibility of missfires. Email Mike, he would be happy to discuss it with you. _______________________________________________________________________________ This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine. My first trigger work was with a Bellm kit and his downloadable instructions. It's easy for anyone to do. Just take your time and check the trigger often for feel. By the time you're done you'll have assembled the trigger so many times it will be easy. "Beware the man with only one gun; he may know how to use it."

I never installed one but my Uncle did on his encore. It made a huge difference in the trigger. It is really nice with almost no creep and i would say around 2 lbs. We shoot sillouettes in IHMSA and it made a real difference. Just my 2 cents.

I hav e installed trigger springs, oversized hinge pins, heavier barrel locking springs, and heavier hammer springs in all of my thompson g2 rifles. It makes a huge difference to me in accuracy and trigger function, not to mention these parts a realitivly inexpensive. Give it a shot.
