Gents:

I have started the process of gathering components for my rifle project. I now have a M70 Classic I intend to send to Mark Penrod for blueprinting and conversion to 375 H&H next fall(currently 30 06). I have also placed my order for an Echols Legend stock.

I have the iron sight system picked out from NECG and intend to replace the bolt handle. My question is this: the barrel.

This will be a general purpose rifle; I may eventually add to the battery, but for the moment it will be the only rifle I will shoot. What would be some recommendations for a barrel (including contour, muzzle diameter and length?)

Thanks!

Jeff

I think a Lilja #5 would go very nicely with the other components you describe.
