Just got my newst FFL newsletter today and the good ole’ ATF will now consider a faxed copy of your FFL to be acceptable, instead of having to mail a signed copy of it. Now...if they could just figure out a way to get rid of about 99% of the other silly laws, rules, and regulations.........

Don, The funniest part was the almost two paragraphs warning about “blurred†faxes and the proper settings for fax machines to get good quality. Like I’m supposed to know how good the other guys fax machine is, or how he has it set to receive faxes??????? If they’ll let you fax them now...why not an emailed PDF file? The whole thing is sort of silly since you can also go online to the ATF’s web site and view a guys FFL anyway. Oh, well...any simplification is better than none at all I guess!

I’m spooky also...and that’s why I wondered about all the warnings about “blurred†faxes. What exactly is the legal definition of “blurred†anyway, I don’t seem to be able to find that one in my legal dictionary!!
