Have a couple Marlin 45/70s ...Both need barrels shortened and new dovetail to replace same front sight..Both need LOP change...one needs the mag tube shortened with the barrel....
Would also like to get the actions slicked up like butter...both are to be used hunting..Not cowboy action guns....
Any recommendations appreciated ...judt prefer a quicker turnaround if possible !

You might try Matrix Gunsmithing in Lake George, Colorado.
They slicked up a 1895 Marlin 45-70 for me, marble and MVA tang sights (were able to get both taped into the tang) replaced the rear sight with a ladder sight with custom adjustment knob, globe front sight, medium loop lever and a skinner peep sight ( all three sights aligned for windage).
Needed the sight options as I still do not know which was best
