I am getting ready to send two 1911's to get NP3 and they recommended to leave them assembled, if I did disassemble they wanted an itemized parts list. That said, if you send assembled and have any "loctited" there is an extra charge. Jason

I have a couple of rifles that were built by ROBAR. The Roguard is a black teflon type finish and normally used on the exterior surfices while NP3 is used on the bolt and internal surfaces. I have a rifle that is all NP3 and I love it.. It has the apperance of very dull stainless, but it is not as reflective as you might think. NP3 is extremly durable. I have a Dakota that has the black teflon finish from Dakota and it has not held up as well as the Roguard on my other rifles. GPT GPT

My Lazzeroni 9.53 Hellcat is 100% NP3 and it's great. Non-reflective and slicker than owl shit. ![]()
