jeffeossoone is more likely to be killed by a relative or close friend using something handheld (fist, bat, frying pan, ashtray)than with a firearm...
guess iron skillets and sluggers are next on ebay's hit list
.. they are hypocrits

Marc_Stokeldmost people don't know it, but the FBI statistics routinely show that more people are killed by knives than shooting. And don't even try to look at drowning or driving or a lot fo other things that are more dangerous. why some people become so fixated on an inantimate object is beyond me

Marc, I think that is an easy one. By fixating on the weapon, they don't have to concentrate on human behavior, including their own.
That way, they can delude themselves into thinking the problem is an easy one to fix....and feel safe without actually having to do much.
Of course, when it turns out they are ultimately not yet 100% safe, they still don't have to labour at thinking....they can just blame some "cabalist" group, like the NRA.
People are basically lazy, including most gun owners. We
COULD get off out fat rumps and really work to change school boards, change the tripe taught in schools, change the people who survive the primaries to be elected to Congress, change eBay, change the whole rotten system.
But we won't. It would take long-term, dedicated work.
Instead we'll give some bucks to the NRA and expect them to do it for us....and be critical of them when their efforts don't work.

johnchIt was a rock
But the description of the asualt rock was a long winded slam on Ebay

Very funny reading
Also the questions people ask where a laugh , everyone was slamming Ebone up one side and down the other
Last I looked the "rock " was up to over $400.00 , A freind emailed me that it sold for $1000.00
