Have you guys ever had trouble removing the retaining pins on a Model 700 trigger? I bought a new SPS about 2 weeks ago and was going to send the trigger off to be adjusted but I cannot get this thing out. Any tricks? Is there something different about these SPS triggers? Thanks, Dan

Clark, Is the bolt stop in the way? You are right, this should be one of the easier things to do... Member NRA, SCI- Life #358 28+ years now! DRSS, double owner-shooter since 1983, O/U .30-06 Browning Continental set.

The pins only come out in one direction. The pin holes have a swadge on one end to keep them snug when installed. Remove the rear pin, first, so that you can remove the bolt stop. That allows the front pin to be removed.

I'm following the directions right off of the triggersmith website so I don't think I'm doing anything wrong.
