Spray Action Cleaners
I have a used Marlin Camp Carbine. It has obviously been fired before. I don't have the skills to take the action apart. Do any of the spray action cleaners work?

They seem to do a decent job at getting out grease/oil/loose material. They are no substitute for a bore cleaner, and are not as good as a disassembly cleaning, but they are decent. I carry a can in the field, especially when bird hunting, in case I (or a buddy more likely, I clean mine a lot more) have a sticky action from gunk buildup.

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

Yes, it is - better than that gun scrubber stuff for $8.00/can... however... be careful with getting it on the stock.

I've seen it discolor the finish on some of mine.
