Can any one reccomend a smith to make one? No one has them or can get them. What would the cost be for that work???? What would the fair market value be for a mini mauser in 90% contdition go for????

Given a sample to copy almost any smith with a milling machine (or even a set of files and other hand tools) can make one. However without a drawing one might have to pay for a learning curve.

Cost might cause one to consider how cheap it is to make a trip to the local hospital's ER room however.

You might be advised to wait until Remington is actually selling the product and just buy a new extractor from them.

Best of luck, I've been waiting over 18 months for one from the importers here. Cost was to be about $A60.00. I got one made for a shade less, the smith copied the original which was broken in half.
