Can anyone tell me if a Rem 700 chambered in a 7mm Mag. Will that action be long enough for a 7MM STW? I want to take the 7mm barrel off and put a new barrel on it chanbered in 7mm stw. Will the mag box be long enough to? Thanks | ||

That's exactly what I did many years ago when the 7STW first appeared in the magazines. The rifle shoots well. Of course, I couldn't leave well enough alone so have an extra barrel in .375 H&H Magnum (fac Rem) fitted so I can switch them out.
