Anyone heard from him lately? Gosh, I hope he didn't go the way of that last guy that disappeared; the one from Idaho. Has anyone got any guns or actions with this guy, hope he didn't skip the country. I can't imagine that, he's got too much good $hit is his backyard to leave behind.

Jim, last I talked to him, he was headed back east for a wedding. I thought he said he would be back the first part of this week. As old as he is, he might have forgot where home was
The fellow from Idaho seems to have just disappeared

That "fellow from Idaho" - Jack Belk ...just put out alot of time and effort to get my Rem Model 30A back to me recently and neither him nor our friend Ray Atkinson would take a dime for their troubles. That says alot to me Jeff Pfeifer - another guy in Idaho

Chic, any chance that Jack will be at the ACGG in Reno in January? There are quite of few of my fellow ARers that I would like to meet. Jack is pretty high up on that list.....
Maybe that should be a new thread. Who's going to Reno?

No, most of them have plywood for windows and burn marks from fires. They be The Projects. Scares me just driving by them. Glad you had a good trip. Actually Chicago's a fun town as big cities go. Compared to cities I've spent time in on the East and West coast the people are much nicer. Sometime I need to tell you about the homeless guy who gave me money last December and wished me Merry Christmas.
