I need a Model 1903 safety lever. I have heard the lever from a Greek Mannlicher will substitute. I want to mount a scope but the safety lever does not clear the scope tube where the diameter increases for the eye piece. I don’t want to alter the original safety lever on an original 1903. I could also use one for a 1961 MCA Mannlicher. This is not crucial however, because the MCA also has a tang safety.

The Safety from the Greek Military 1903 rifle/carbine will interchange with the 1903 Commercial part.
Might not be exactly the same as far as the 'flag' portion (checkering if any, minor shape difference).

I haven't done business with them in many years.
They used to be kind of like Numrich was. You never quite knew what you were going to receive and in what condition.
Greek Mannlicher surplus parts are usually not in the best of condition for some reason.

But at least SARCO is charging 1/2 of what Numrich wants and Numrich is out of stock.

They show up on EBay of course but you have to scramble, bid & beg for them. Once in a while a Buy-It-Now at a decent price comes up.
